Melty Blood Actress Again PS2 trailers

Aside from showing the new “School Uniform Akiha” and of course, Ryougi, there’s also… never mind, there’s nothing. So yeah, I’m still confused why School Akiha must be a new playable character rather than just, say, a new sprite set for regular Akiha, but whatever. Well, at least there’s a Kara no Kyoukai stage (the forest in front of the Ryougi mansion, complete with the ‘fight’ BGM).

They’re .mpg files compressed in .zip’s, so you have to download them – yes, all 15 seconds of it. Just like downloading pr0n back in the 90’s, amirite?

(I’m really doing a lot of these “ohemgee, the site’s updated!” entries nowadays, aren’t I? Note to self: stop.)

Barring any surprise Mirai Fukuin announcements (“lol yeah, we really are gonna make it after all”), this is the finale in the Kara no Kyoukai film series. Let’s see it through to the end…

Boukyaku Rokuon DVD is set for release on July 29.
Satsujin Kousatsu (Go) DVD will probably be somewhere around February 2010.
No information yet on Gate of seventh heaven. …

Actress Again’s console port – which as I like to bring up, is as inevitable as the setting of the Sun – is due August, with surprises as usual.

Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin movie?

There are two in my world. It feels that way.
If someone asks me which is the shadow of the other,
I can honestly say that I’ve forgotten how to check -
I think.

Yes, I do realise that it’s April 1st, and almost too good to be true. But I really hope it’s real.

To repeat what I said on Beast’s Lair, Mirai Fukuin would be the perfect finishing touch on the Rakkyo film series.

PS: I find it amazing how I (for now) have totally monopoly over the “Mirai Fukuin” tag.

Kara no Kyoukai : Mujun Rasen

EDIT: (Huh, “mujun”. Which is funny, considering 境界 is always written as “kyoukai”.)

As befitting the name, Mujun Rasen – Paradox Spiral, or possibly the reverse – is the most trippy and confusing chapter yet, with some of the messiest (yet engaging) editing I’ve ever seen. The story skips back and forth between… hell, all over the story; the first part is about the introduction of Tomoe, his relationship with Ryougi and ending with a cliffhanger. The second part lays out most of the basis of the plot and ends with the two plotlines, kept separate until now, finally coming together. The third part is a chaotic finale ending with yet another stellar fight scene.
