Nanoha PSP Fighting Game Due

Probably to tie in with the first Nanoha theatrical remake coming January 23rd, now we have Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A’s Portable -The Battle of Aces-. As the name implies, it’s a fighting game on the PSP, coming out January 21st, 2010.

I have to admit, I’ve been semi-hoping for something like this since I first watched Nanoha. But pessimist that I generally am, I’ll wait until a trailer is out before deciding on a purchase.

Standard edition: ￥5229
“Lyrical Box” edition: ￥13629 (“8 specials”…? If it’s groundworks I might seriously be tempted.)

Speculating on playable characters… Nanoha/Fate/Hayate/Vita/Signum are obvious. You can probably add Chrono, Arf, Shamal, and Zafira on that one way or another. Having a defense-focused Yuuno might be interesting.

PS: Kara no Kyoukai 6 entry is still sitting in Drafts, for some reason.

PPS: It’d be hilarious if a turn-based tactics StrikerS game came out.

Photographing Hayate

As I said in the entry immediately before, I got a new figure in my slowly growing collection: Max Factory figma Yagami Hayate Knight Armor ver.

Photographing Fate

Since I’ve had this sitting around forever (like ef) I decided to take it out of storage and have some fun with it.

I was going to put a waifu joke here, but combining that with the “have some fun” above makes for an awkward visual, so I’ll refrain.

(Also, yes, brightness. But short of natural sunlight, that was the best light in the house for taking photos.)
